BLOOMING. The season for you to bloom is now. Plant your seeds and wait for your own harvest. Ever changing. Always growing. Water yourself daily. Get plenty of sunshine. Eat cake 💗
IS IT CAKE? absolutely! A custom cake for Joe is a mashup between a mocha crunch cake and a tiramisu with sparkly honeycomb candy as a garnish.
What Sorcery is this?! Have a slice and find out. ✨ It’s 2014 and the first round of desserts were sent out to the new FOH staff at Redbird for tasting. A server named Christina (a fellow LOTR fan) raised her hand and asked me if I was a SUGAR WIZARD. I laughed so hard and the name stuck to me ever since.
Smoked Cherry Chocolate. Such complexity of flavor only exists beyond the veil and in your heart. Only a Wizard could conjure such flavor 🖤✨🤘
Had the pleasure of creating a fresh farmers market driven dessert for an event @wwoocalifornia with @j.strubel and his team. A beautiful venue with great food can make for a memorable night.
KUBO APPLE PIE. This one is for Dad ❤️.
Happy Father’s Day. Kubo Apple Pie is an homage to my Father. His love and care for family can always be translated through food. He adored cooking and entertaining people. He also had lots of tricks up his sleeve for making his cooking extra ordinary. He often did it with a smile and a quirky joke - Filipino dad style.
